Sheya Chen is an independent illustrator and animation director known for her soft lighting, cinematic framing, and emotionally quiet storytelling. Her work blends everyday moments with a touch of dreamlike surrealism, capturing delicate feelings with a gentle, restrained visual style.

WOLO is Sheya’s thesis animation project. Through carefully crafted scenes, theatrical lighting, and subtle character movements, the film follows two actors as they shift between their on-screen roles and their true selves — eventually finding genuine love in each other.
